KAUST requires a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the IBT (Internet Based Test) or 6.5 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System). The KAUST admissions code is 4107. Only official TOEFL or IELTS scores will be accepted. TOEFL or IELTS scores for tests administered by an educational institution for admission to that particular institution are not acceptable. The programme with strong regional industry links equips students with in-demand skills and competences in a dynamic field. CENIT@EA offers a 2-year Master in Embedded and Mobile Systems that is geared towards the needs of the private and public sector in East Africa. The Master includes elements such as an internship, an applied Master thesis, Summer Schools, guest lecturers from the private and public sector, as well as Entrepreneurial and Soft Skills training. This enables the students to develop and marketize digital solutions, that are crucial for the transformation of industries and the development of the region. The EMoS programme is structured in academic modules which includes distinctive and integrative courses with high educational and practical content that address the local and regional development needs and challenges. The programme includes a variety of courses and it focus on four major topics, which are highly relevant for current industrial issues: Mobile Computing, Embedded Systems, Soft Skills and Basic Skills. The program is demand driven with industrial linkage in order to strengthen the entrepreneurial skills and the employability of graduates in this field. Duration of the Scholarship: 2 years 1. BACKGROUND The EAC Scholarship Programme is an initiative of the East African Community (EAC) and the Federal Republic of Germany. The project begun in 2018 when the EAC Secretariat and Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with KfW (German Development Bank) geared towards the training of students within the EAC Region. This Project aims at creating future change agents, who identify themselves with the integration agenda of the EAC and are willing to share economic and development-oriented expert knowledge. The goal of this initiative is to contribute towards training leaders that will foster the EAC Regional integration. This goal will be partly achieved through the establishment of academic collaboration between universities/institutions within the EAC Region, by encouraging students to study in countries other than their own. In order to achieve these impacts, the project offers a comprehensive package including scholarships for Master’s programmes, internships, mentoring, networking events and further leadership training activities. The scholarship will support Master’s students in i) Mathematics, ii) Engineering, iii) Informatics, iv) Science, v) Technology and vi) Business Science programmes. The students are required to apply to study in another EAC country (not their country of origin). Women and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply. We are currently advertising full-time DOMESTIC (MQRES) and full-time INTERNATIONAL (iMQRES) Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarships. All four scholarships cover a bundled 2nd year Master of Research plus PhD program. However, students can start directly into a PhD program if they meet specific selection requirements. The candidature period is either three years for the PhD program or four years for a bundled Master of Research plus PhD program. Students will receive a generous stipend of $50,045 per annum (2021 rate, tax exempt). This consists of a base stipend of $28,597 p.a. and a top-up stipend of $21,448 p.a. Candidates will also receive a tuition-fee offset scholarship. Successful scholarship applicants may also seek to undertake Research Assistant work to supplement their scholarship stipend (up to 14 hours per week). Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) invites prospective international students to study in UNS through self-funding and UNS Scholarship scheme. UNS Scholarship provides a tuition fee waiver for new international students seeking a bachelor, master, and doctor degree. However, UNS Scholarship is not available for study programs in the Faculty of Medicine or Medical Sciences. Awardee has to pay the tuition fee if they cannot finish their study after the scholarship has reached the duration. The scholarship can be terminated if awardee cannot maintain minimum GPA or violates the regulation of university and Indonesian law. Transfer to other study program or faculty is not allowed. Awardee who resigns from UNS have to pay back the tuition fee waiver that has been granted. Students can apply for the scholarship provided by the Agenzia Regionale Diritto allo Studio Universitario – DSU is the agency for the University Study Right of the Tuscany Regional Council (Regione Toscana). A DSU grant includes free accommodation free meals at the University dining halls contribution to cover extra expenses (sporting activities, books, etc.) exemption from University tuition fees. Who can apply Students planning to enroll or already enrolled in a Degree program at the University of Pisa, if they do not already have a qualification of the same level of education. Application and required documents Online application only, via Sportello Studente, by the call’s deadline (usually published every year in July). The application can be submitted even if the student is not enrolled yet. The grant is valid for only one academic year. Therefore, students have to repeat the application each academic year. Foreign students (with income abroad) who wish to access the services offered by the DSU (Scholarship, Services Scholarship, Grant for Disabled Students, Extraordinary Contribution, Subsidised Canteen Prices, etc.) are requested to apply online, print the receipt available in their personal area and send it following the instructions provided by the admission call, attaching a document certifying the family economic status together with a copy of a valid identity document. The results of grants allocation will be published at www.dsu.toscana.it and will be available on the students' personal area. No personal written communication shall be provided to applicants concerning results. Incompatibility DSU grant holders can also benefit from other merit-based grants allocated by the University of Pisa only in the first academic year, provided that the benefit amount does not exceed € 6,000.
