The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is a German political foundation named after the first chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. KAS operates worldwide intending to promote democracy through political education and training. Since 1999 KAS has funded a scholarship programme, run by the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA). This unique scholarship programme provides funding to complete a full-year internship at SAIIA in parallel to a Masters degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Law or Journalism at WITS, UCT or Stellenbosch University. Successful applicants have to meet the entry requirements for a Masters degree at the above institutions, be a South African resident (or eligible for residency status), and be younger than 30 years old. Successful candidates will receive a full bursary for their tuition fees and a monthly stipend to cover their living costs and accommodation. The programme is output-focused, and scholars are assigned mentors. The application should include: A letter of support/endorsement from one of your current lecturers for enrolment into a Masters Programme. A full CV that includes at least one additional written reference with your application. Your full academic record. Two written samples of your own writing. Art scholarships are open to art students wishing to pursue an initial master’s degree in Switzerland. Art scholarships are awarded for study at any Swiss conservatory or university of the arts. This scholarship is available to students from a limited number of countries only. Each year the Swiss Confederation awards Government Excellence Scholarships to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and over 180 other countries. Recipients are selected by the awarding body, the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS). The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships are aimed at young researchers from abroad who have completed a master’s degree or PhD and at foreign artists holding a bachelor’s degree.

The Hillary Rodham Clinton Global Challenges Programme, supported by Sky, aims to facilitate international cooperation to address urgent national and transnational challenges. In partnership with Sky, this graduate scholarship initiative will develop the next generation of outstanding, forward-looking, real-world focused leaders in legal scholarship, activism and practice. For our third cohort, who will commence their studies in January 2022, we are looking for five scholars to study the following topics: Digital inclusion Racial injustice Children’s rights Environment and climate change Human rights If you are accepted onto this master’s programme, you will receive a scholarship which covers the full tuition fee as well as a stipend of c.£15,000 to contribute towards your living costs. Candidates will hold a first class degree, either in law or in a relevant discipline, with strong overall and individual module performance. Exceptional candidates with a good upper second class degree who can demonstrate relevant experience may also be considered. In support of their application, candidates are also asked to provide a two-page CV and a cover letter setting out what they hope to gain from the programme and how they will contribute to it. Applicants should also identify and justify the global challenge area they would like to work on. If neither English nor Welsh is your first language you will need an acceptable pass in an approved English language qualification such as the IELTS test (with an overall score of at least 7.0 and a minimum of 6.5 in each component).

Chevening Scholarship- Master’s Scholarship in UK

To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must: Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory. Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended. Have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university by the time you submit your application. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK but may be different depending on your course and university choice. Have at least two years (equivalent to 2,800 hours) of work experience. Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by 14 July 2022. You are not eligible for a Chevening Scholarship if you: Hold British or dual British citizenship (unless you are a citizen of a British Overseas Territory or hold BN(O) and are applying from Hong Kong). Hold refugee status in a non-Chevening eligible country. Applicants who are citizens of a Chevening-eligible country and who hold refugee status in a Chevening-eligible country are eligible for a scholarship. Are an employee, a former employee, or relative* of an employee of Her Majesty’s Government (including British embassies/high commissions; the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy; Department for International Trade; the Ministry of Defence; and the Home Office), or a staff member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The Kistefos Young Talented Leaders Scholarship at IE was set up to remove financial barriers to education for high-potential individuals from Norway and Africa, helping them unleash their innovative business vision. This generous donation is the most recent installment in IE Foundation’s Talent without Borders scholarship program, which awards scholarships to students from over 90 countries every year. The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) was established in 1980 as Malaysia’s commitment to South-South Cooperation through the sharing of Malaysia’s development experiences and expertise with other developing countries. The objectives of the MTCP are: To share experience with other developing countries; To strengthen bilateral ties with developing countries; To encourage and promote South-South Cooperation; and To encourage and promote technical cooperation within developing countries. MTCP is premised on the principle that the development of a country is dependent on the quality of its human capital and resources. MTCP emphasizes on human resources development mainly through training and capacity-building courses including short-term courses at Malaysian public and private training institutions, and long-term courses at Malaysian public universities. Annually, Malaysia's flagship MTCP offers more than 60 technical training and capacity-building programmes in vast areas of development to developing countries in collaboration with leading local training institutions and international development partners. To date, more than 34,500 participants from 144 developing countries have benefited from the various programmes offered under the MTCP. The MTCP Scholarship is sponsored by the Malaysian government and is dedicated to international students from the developing world to pursue their postgraduate studies in Malaysia, whilst at the same time acquire the necessary knowledge and skills that could contribute to the development of their home country. The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is the Federal Government agency with the mandate of developing indigenous human capacity and petroleum technology to meet the needs of the oil and gas industry. The Fund hereby invites applications from qualified Nigerians to apply for the 2021/22 Undergraduate, Masters and PhD scholarships for students in Nigerian Federal Universities. Method of Application Online application form can be accessed from the PTDF SCHOLARSHIP MANAGEMENT PORTAL: scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng. Instructions on how to access the application form is stated on the PTDF Scholarship Management Portal (scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng)Applicants are advised to read through the requirements before applying. APPLICANTS ARE TO PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Applicants must have a National Identity Number (NIN) before applying for the scholarship. The viability of the study/research plan (PhD applicants only) Undergraduate and Postgraduate (MSC) applicants are required to make a case for their scholarship by submitting a statement of purpose stating the reason(s) they wish to undertake the study, the relevance of the proposed study to the industry and its expected impact on national development. While PhD applicants are required to submit a research proposal of not more than 6 pages to include topic, introduction, literature review, research question(s), novelty, methodology, mode of data collection(s), expected outcome(s), relevance to the industry and appropriate references.
